The boots have a PU/PU sole, a composite toecap and a Kevlar anti-puncture insole. The shoe is made in the S3 SRC protection category, where SRC stands for slip resistance on sodium lauryl sulphate solution (SLS)-coated ceramic ground and glycerol-coated steel ground. The toecap provides protection against impacts with an energy equivalent to 200J. It features puncture resistance, a built-in heel and resistance to oil, petrol and other organic solvents.
